All manuscripts submitted to Cendikia: Journal of Social Science, Law, and Education undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, relevance, and scholarly contribution.

The review process begins with an initial editorial screening to assess the manuscript’s suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with submission guidelines, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that successfully pass this stage are forwarded for peer review.

The journal employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process. This approach ensures fairness, objectivity, and impartial evaluation.

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on several criteria, including:

  • Originality and novelty of the research
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  • Theoretical and methodological rigor
  • Quality of analysis and interpretation
  • Clarity of presentation and organization
  • Contribution to knowledge and practice

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revisions
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Accept with major revisions
  • Resubmit for further review
  • Reject

Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments and submit a revised version within the specified timeframe. The revised manuscript may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s editorial standards.
